CHERRY Considered one of the finest cabinetry woods available, cherry is appreciated for its elegant grain pattern and rich reddish color, which may vary from pale red-gold to deep cinnamon. Cherry darkens naturally as it ages.
HICKORY Its strong grain pattern is marked by vividly contrasting colors in tones from pale gold to deep chocolate brown, and random markings such as knots and wormholes add textural interest.
MAPLE Maple is noted for delicate grain patterns that may include mineral streaks and tiny "bird's eye" dots. Maple's naturally light color ranges from soft ivory to pale reddish tan, with a smooth and uniform surface that accepts any finish with beautiful results.
OAK With its bold grain pattern and warm natural color, oak is the hard wood of choice for many consumers and decorators today. Oak doors may include random worm holes, knots and wild grain patterns.
RUSTIC ALDER Rustic Alder has light brown and reddish undertones and may contain a variety of pin holes, open and closed knots of various sizes and colors, small cracks, bird pecks, mineral streaks and grain variation. The wood may contain color difference caused by variations in minerals found in the soil.
LAMINATE Sleek and smooth-surfaced, laminate offers a sophisticated appearance along with exceptional durability and ease of maintenance for today's hard-working rooms. |
